Join fellow Wharton Alumni in HK, for a day out on a junk boat with sea food lunch and water sports

Dear Alumni

 

Based on your feedback for having some fun informal events together, the Wharton Club of Hong Kong is happy to announce a fun-filled relaxing day out on the sea with fellow alums for a Junk boat trip to Lamma Island with sea food lunch, swim in the beach and water sports. Thanks to fellow alumni David Cameron for organizing the Linklaters corporate junk for the event

 

We are also happy to inform that we will be co-hosting this event along with our friends from the Penn club of HK

 

Date: Sunday June 29th

Boarding Location: Aberdeen Marina Club, we meet at front entrance of AMC and take the side-pathway to the back to reach the marina without entering the AMC building  

Reporting Time: 9:30 AM (please be on time for an on time sail-off)

Boarding Time: 10:00 AM (we sail-off sharp at 10:15 AM) 

Return Time: about 4:00 PM back to AMC

Food: Lunch at Sea-Food restaurant in Lama Island

Drinks & Snacks on Board: Bring your own drinks (BYOD) and munchies to enjoy with fellow alums, though club will organize some limited drinks and snacks on board 

Dress code: beach casual and don't forget to get you swim suits and towels for a plunge

Activities: banana boat / speed boat / swimming 

 

Cost: HKD 500 (Lunch included)

 

Payments should be made to the Club’s account at HSBC (#502-411531-001), with receipt emailed to Sanjay Khanduri ([email protected]).  Please RSVP and send in your payment ASAP as we have only 35 seats on the boat, guests are welcome but preference will be given to Wharton and Penn alumni.

 

Please also provide your cell number , we-chat id and dietary restrictions (Veg / Non-Veg) to Sanjay for co-ordinating last minute logistics in case of bad weather.
