Informal Cocktail and Speaking event with Sam Geliman of Uber

The Wharton Club of Hong Kong is delighted to announce our next event – “Cocktail with Uber”.  Uber is one of the largest venture-funded companies in the world, focusing on the transportation industry using mobile technologies.  On 15 August, we are very pleased to have Sam Gellman, Head of Asia Expansion & General Manager of Uber Hong Kong, to be our speaker.  He will talk about Uber’s history, how they penetrated into 25 Asian cities and the challenges they are facing in coping with the different local markets.

“Cocktail with Uber” will be yet another new attempt by the Wharton Club to arrange a speaker event that is more engaging and interactive in a less formal setting.  It would be a pleasant way to meet up with fellow schoolmates while learning something new in the leading-edge of mobile technologies.
