The Wharton Club of Hong Kong is delighted to host a luncheon with Patrick Zhu G’15, CAA Film Producer and Former Head of Production at Jiang Wen Films (姜文电影) as our first guest speaker from the Creative & Entertainment industry.
Patrick is currently a Film Producer at CAA, one of the most influential talent agencies in the entertainment world based in Hollywood, in charge of film production and talent representation in China. Prior to that, Patrick was the Head of Production at Jiang Wen Films (姜文电影) and helped produced multiple films such as Hidden Man (邪不压正) and Gone With The Bullets (一步之遥).
Experienced in the entertainment industry in both China and the US, Patrick will share on a variety of topics including latest developments in the movie and content industry in China before and after the pandemic, impact of policies and regulations in this sector, as well as changes of investors’ interest in film productions.
This event will be an ideal platform for alumni and participants to hear about the latest trends in the film and entertainment industry in China especially in a post pandemic world.

About the Speaker
Patrick Zhu G’15 is currently a Film Producer at CAA, one of the most influential talent agencies in the entertainment world based in Hollywood, in charge of film production and talent representation in China. Prior to that, Patrick was the Head of Production at Jiang Wen Films (姜文电影) and helped produce multiple films such as Hidden Man (邪不压正), Gone With The Bullets (一步之遥).
Patrics has also held various positions at Tencent Pictures, Sony Pictures, etc, and founded Three Fellows Production, producing short videos and documentaries of intercultural themes during his time in the US.
Patrick obtained his Bachelor degree at Peking University, and Master of Arts degree in Literatures & Films at the University of Pennsylvania.
