After the extremely popular launch of the Wharton Club of Hong Kong's (WCHK) Speed Networking event last year we are excited to host our Speed Networking: Season 2 event as part of the ongoing series.
Similar to last year's event we look forward to connecting alumni across vintages through a matched speed networking over a happy hour format. We are delighted to partner with INSEAD Alumni Association of Hong Kong (IAAHK) for this year’s event to further expand potential connections.
We will help to facilitate new connections and broaden alumni network among Penn-Wharton-Insead alumni through a structured happy hour where we match alumni based on common career pursuits, interests and preferences.
Some featured alumni from the Penn and Wharton Schools include
- Catherine Leung (Co Founder and Partner of MizMaa Ventures, and former Vice Chairman of JP Morgan Asia),
- Mark Cho (Managing Director of Blackstone),
- Kevin Guan (Managing Director of Bain Capital), and
- Zi Xuan Zhang (Founder of PalladiumX and Starboard Ventures).
Please be reminded that we have limited capacity for the event, and we expect the event to sell out quickly given last year’s turnout. Wharton Club of Hong Kong follows a No Walk-ins allowed policy. So please register ASAP.
Date & Time: May 31, 6–8 pm HKT, followed by 8-9 pm HKT free flow networking
Venue: Centricity, 2/F, LANDMARK Chater House, 8 Connaught Rd Central, Central
Pricing: HKD 500 / person (non-refundable), includes free flow of standard drinks for 3 hours with canapes
Registration: Please Take note of 2 step process
- Step 1: Pay the event fee of HKD 500, using payment tab below;
- Step 2: Please fill a quick survey of your interests for matching, using this link
Event structure:
- 6:00 to 6:15 pm: Free flow networking
- 6:15 to 6:30 pm: Registrations and housekeeping instructions
- 6:30 - 7:50 pm: Speed networking with 4 matches of 20 minutes each
- 7:50 to 9:00 PM: Free flow networking
IMPORTANT: Given the person-specific-matching nature of the event, alumni are requested to be punctual and arrive no later than 6:15 PM and stay at least till 7:50 PM. If alumni face unexpected schedule issues, we request alumni to inform us at least 48 hours before the event of their unavailability.
Lastly this is an ALUMNI ONLY EVENT and please register only if you are a Penn, Wharton or Insead alumni.
